2 Decades After !!!!

Long time no see ... am back to my bloggin now, hopefully this time around i shud hav tym for more .. anyways what u see here is the new Song I penned in like ten minutes after naming our metal band "Two Decades and After" ...

so thats wer u get the name for 2DA ... and the song too...its kinda simple cos all the band members are 20 yrs and above, I thought why not 2 decades and after ... and so the song gets the name ...by the way the song's all about a New beginning ...its about a second chance in a man's life ..like the prodigal son, he returns home at peace after washin away his sins from the past life two decades after .....

TWO DECADES AFTER !!!!

I’ve cast the demons out of my past life,

This age beckons a new dawn of resurrection;

I’ve remained hungry for too long and travelled too far,

Crossed the depths of insanity into this age of virtual bliss ….

TWO DECADES AFTER , TWO DECADES AFTER !!!! …

I keep runnin and runnin and runnin to find my shelter,

I keep runnin and runnin and runnin for a ccover,

I keep runnin away from madness and I keep runnin all da way ….

These shadows bewilder my survival this day,

Clouded with remorse, entrapped in fear –

I cling on to my beads of protection and strike a chord,

This life is short to wash away my sins,

I’ve stumbled , I’ve fallen …but I wont give up ..NEVER …

Like a phoenix I rise from the ashes back to life,

My eyes wide open like that of the horus;

My pain is mere pleasure - am back to bein mortal,

I will live to fight my nemesis and slay my FEARS …

I will cast my woes in the graveyard and rise this day -
