Questions in the wake of terror

undefined undefined

Are we numb to instances of terror and attacks in our country? Are we stoics who passively accept these instances as mere trifles to destabilize the communal harmony that we very often question in this country? Or can we safely now accept these strikes as one that we as Robots, fine-tuned to accept these passively , can ignore as just another one of those acts that could not be an Intelligence failure, but an exceptional display of pre-planned terrorist routine that we have very often seen in this country ? Nonetheless, let me see if we have an agreement here for once, do we agree that the 26/11 display of immaculate expertise was one in the form of a Fidayeen attack that debuted in an Indian metro city? If the answer is No!! Then, you are a Robot and need not persist with reading the rest of this post. If the answer is in the affirmative, then you may hang your head down in remorse that yes you are one of those who can proudly claim that you live amongst the Robots of the first category who have turned deaf over the years and dumb over time.

The horrendous scenes of an architectural marvel burning in flames and our monumental sites painted in blood, might give the terrorist an orgasm and the Robots, a raised eyebrow, as there’s nothing more that could have been raised. I believe there were some mentions of “The Spirit of the Mumbaikar” and “I am alive, Mr.Terrorist, What more can you do ?” and so on and so forth, what bemuses the non-robotic class is we’re only doin the yapp yapp and goin blah blah over the largely bollywoodized part of imaginative Mumbai that comes up with a well-knit question, fabricated more to gather hype and shoot to fame rather than implementing one measure if not many to curb he menace or wipe the filth out of an already ransacked city, a city that has been a haven for bullets, bombs, and bollywood.

Now, let’s get down to sumthin serious….there’s a third class of those part of this never-ending drama called Democracy, and that’s the JOKER. Who wud’ve thot that we’d see all Jokers in one stage, but don’t you dare, this is India, my friend, a land where you pay to watch the Joker laugh at you and of course get away scot free jus cos a Joker’s never serious and is unquestionable, cos the SHOW MUST GO ON…… alrite, whom do we have here at the summit the CM of MH, what a joke??? The best joke in the wake of terror wud be the visit that the, now former CM(as I can now safely say so) had committed himself to except that him being part of the Joker Community could be excused for his casual stroll o’er the ruins of the Taj with his gay son with an equally gay partner of his, well….this stroll earmarked a dead letter day in fostering Terror tourism which comes in timeless packages. Joker number 2 would be the DCM who bravely quotes that the people of Mumbai should be happy that the terrorist’s mission wasn’t accomplished; else we would’ve lost atleast 5000 lives, and the most trendsetting and brave comment from the mouth of the DCM were “all these keep happening, chaltha hai, aise chothe mothe haadse hote hi rahte hain !!!!” I think I can now safely claim that this guy’s an ardent Shahrukh fan, this quote is deceptively similar to the most famous quote used in DDLJ and misused often by struggling wannabes “ bade bade deshon mein aisi chote chote batein hote hi rahte hain”, how verbatim bollywood …and sadly an impotent rip-off to describe the not-so amusing nightmare of maladies.

On the podium and at the third spot, only marginally losing out the silverware wud be the DGP who was quick enough to passionately mouth filth with the media that the police wud not leave alone these terror kids as they had lost men from their own force, in short we wud have to mend the rule this time around leavin aside the strict definition of the JOKER to redefine the term to include the outspoken class of outrageous comedians who have tickled ur spines to give you a peek into those who’s spines have been long lost. Mind you, the drama lasted for 60 hours thanks to the Jokers who kept the show alive and yes!! We shudn’t forget the others who chipped in with their own bit of humor, like the CM of a neighbouring state who in fact donned the shoes of Nostradamus in proudly claiming that his clairvoyance of the terror strikes dates back to even when the Intelligence wing of the nation gathered hints of a possible marine entry to wreck the shores in terror, however the said Nostradamus was wrong with his prediction on whether his reward would be asked to be showed back up his arse, when a widow of one of the most famous sons of India said so.

Next on the cards, well this fellow was late in turning up else he wud’ve shared the gold with the Ex-CM of MH, but then we cud at the least consider the procrastination owes much to the perils of being an Octogenarian. Nonetheless, VS did have his SAY and didn’t he SAY sumthin, sumthin which cud’ve been synonymous to absurdity? Or did he ???. It doesn’t however, come much as a bolt from the blue, considering the fact that he is still in his age long slumber, as much as many others in Kerala have been ever since time immemorial (Including but not limited to, having more unemployed men n women than the number of coconuts in the state, no potential investors interested in sheltering trade unions and others who simply aren’t like the coconut trees, which can be raped from root to the canopy for the countless produces that get Kerala on the Trade map…and etc…etc..). Whatever said and done, Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan died a martyr and left back a lot of questions for us to ponder on. May his and all others’(Including but not limited to Hemant Karkare, Salaskar, Kamte, and the other brave ones) souls R.I.P.

Mr.JOKER, would u have come off to the Taj on learning of the attacks and do a KARKARE ? wud u have dropped urself from a chopper to save the country? Do you actually do something than just bank on these terrorists to emotionally wreck the masses and politicize the malady for a healthy vote bank? Do we ROBOTS actually need to remain this way ? Are we Robots forgetting that we are Indian first before going regional or by the faith? Do we actually need to pay taxes, when these moles live around us and kill our people ? How do we actually go about clearing the menace ? We still have the slums and the cramped shacks in all metros, do we still need a reason for getting rid off them ??? for god’s sake, these are the areas where u wudnt even know who an Indian is and who a terrorist is , and he cud be let loose and amongst us, other than the JOKERS who always wanted these for Vote banks, what are we benefitting out of these people in the slums ? where are my taxes going??????.....

So what the week revolved on has been a drama staged by a few idiots, performed by a few JOKERS, watched by a hoard of robots and felt by a few INDIANS …..the holocaust of unfathomable grief and myriad emotions blanketed the atmosphere throughout the globe and people have woken up to the terrifying reality that its’ no longer a life that they can proudly claim as their own, but one that is at the mercy of a fanatic demon that knows nothing but anarchy. Solidarity was not just shown at the Cubbon Park or the Gateway or else where, solidarity lies in our hearts, and the boiling blood of all those young Indians, well!!!! All those whose blood boils now, hopefully shudnt be victims of a short-term memory loss to forget these questions that loom overhead like the Democles’ sword, soon.

KIDS, what you saw on TV were not one from a gory animation flick, but reality…. PLEASE DON’T TRY THIS AT HOME OR IN SCHOOL !!!!

Needless to say, very cogent and precise post. Unaccountability and incompetence seems to have become the norm for people occupying public offices. Of late, being inconsiderate has become yet another attribute of our politicians. Neelu, you have done a great job in capturing all these issues. Well done !!

Self Endorsed Insanity - The constant questions to a mad man of his existence and description of the self can land you in trouble; for instance, this is one sonnet, ofcourse not flick'd from King Lear, u might wanna take a look at :

Most mad men are mad men cos life's a whore,
Mad men are always true but the whore's never ready !!!!!

As for the Mad man, He's always out of shape, and
As for the whore you never know what shape she takes!!!!!

Man and whore alike, is madness a virtue too good yet far???
ah i wonder !!!!! why Men are mad and choose to be so ........
Choose me, Oh madness !!!! Choose me !!!!! i wud be glad to be MAD!!!!!
